It is an eye opening and good experience to see how they process jasmine tea. The shop setting is eye catching and attractive.

EXPLORING HANGZHOU CITY

We were tasked to explore and enjoy Hangzhou, the Hangzhou way. As much as Hangzhou in integrating to be smart city and cashless Society we need to do that as well.

We have to install few apps such Gaode Map, Didi and Taobao

Smart City for the bus and train integrate this two mode with Alipay payment. No cash accepted inside the bus. It cost you ¥2 for a ride.

Gaode Map is almost similar like Google Maps but with few enhance feature. We can invite few people to link with our map. It will be good to track our kids, our phone, our spouse.

Taobao is one of the platform like shoppe and Lazada. It offer lot items, category and in China it can do 24 hour delivery. It also have free to Malaysia 🇲🇾 delivery. Sadly most of the words are in Chinese. Alibaba team are working hard to tackle this issue.

Didi is like Grap, MyCar, Maxim in Malaysia. We can pay by card or Alipay too. Tried this in Shenzen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanning and true it's easy. Price is cheaper than taxi.

HALAL ADVENTURE IN CHINA

Alhamdulilah.

We went to 2 halal restaurant while exploring Hangzhou.

First place was at this restaurant name Xinjiang Pamir Restaurant.

Xinjiang Pamir Restaurant is popular due to real Xinjiang-style delicacies and good service. The fragrance of fried lamb with cumin, the restaurant's specialty, invites you in from the gate.

We had the best lamb skew. It is very juicy and very lamby smell. Ada ke lamby? Bau kambing yang tak mandi. It taste so delicious. The moment we had was just great.

The second one name Phoenix Mosque Restaurant.

Phoenix Mosque Restaurant is considered as the best Halal food restaurant in Hangzhou. Both the main dishes and snacks made of mutton are delicious. The most famous food at Phoenix Mosque Restaurant should be the lamb shashlik which tastes tender, hot and spicy.

Most people would buy lots of shashliks here. The mutton chop suey is the most delicious soup ever made. A big bowl of soup costs only a little. No wonder this restaurant's business is very well.

Phoenix Mosque - Hangzhou China

Phoenix Mosque, or know as Fenghuang Mosque, is located in the Zhongshan Road of Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is one of the four big ancient China Islamic mosques (the other three are Xianhe Mosque in Yangzhou, Qingjing Mosque in Quanzhou and Huaisheng Mosque in Guangzhou). It has become one of the famous Hangzhou Attractions, and enjoys a high reputation among the Arab State.

Phoenix Mosque covers an area of about 2600 square meters; its construction area is about 1370 square meters and its worship house area is about 570 square meters. This mosque has accessory facilities like water room and morgue. It is a main place of Islamic religious festival activities, and also is center of Hangzhou's Islamic worship.

Due to its similar appearance with phoenix, it got its name "Phoenix Mosque". This mosque has a long history. It was first built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and destroyed in the Song dynasty (960-1279). In 1281, during Yuan Dynasty (1206-1368), the famous Islam, A LaoDing began to rebuild this mosque; and in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), in the year of 1451 to 1493, this mosque was rebuilt and expanded again, and finally form existing buildings scale. In 1646, the Qing government ordered again to reconstruct it, making it become one of the China's largest mosques at that time.

The existing Phoenix Mosque covers an area of 2600 square meters. The main building are hall, assembly hall, worship house, etc...The worship house was a building without beam built in the Yuan Dynasty. Inside the mosque, there are many cultural relics and art, wooden scriptures and some inscriptions. The audience hall is the oldest building in this mosque.
