Travel Tips/Info ~ Coron, Palawan
1- Along the way to/from Busuanga airport ( lebih kurang 3km) right and left side adalah padang ragut rumput utk lembu ternakan kaler putih yg ber backgroundkan bukit2 hijau. Enjoy the scenery yg cantik ala2 mcm kat New Zealand dan Kundasang.
2- Airport transfer hotel akan arrangekan. Nnti ade driver tunggu kat airport. Just byr only PHP150 (fixed rate) sorg one way.
3- Tour pon just walk in book bila dah smpi sini.Price dah include seafood lunch.
4- Hanya ade 200 org masyarakat muslim disini. Alhamdulillah mereka sgt happy dengan kehadiran kami dan they are very helpful. Makanan halal kami diorg yg tolong preparekan. Kami juga berpeluang utk berbual dgn ketua masyarakat muslim disini ( Hj.Sultan)
4- Bole approach abg Adnan ( refer gambar) utk dptkan makanan halal. Kita makan apa yg mereka makan. Very decent food tp sedap, kena dgn selera Melayu ( mcm masakan Padang). Bila tny berapa katanya x payah sbb kami tetamu. Tp sblm balik kami ade sedekahkan some amount of money to them. Rasa tak sedap plak mkn free jah. Kedai abg Adnan ni kat area deretan kedai sebelah Luis Bay Travellers Lodge. Its not a restaurant or eatry place, kedai jual baju2 and some neccesities. Don't expect luxury here, makan pon dalam keadaan agak gelap ( pakai lampu led kecik je) tp kami happy sbb dpt bergaul dgn local muslim community here. Malam2 lepak dgn mereka kt kedai abg Adnan smbil minum2 kopi.
5- Coron town half day tour (Mt.Tapyas, Maquinit Hot Spring, Cashew nut factory, souviner shop) only PHP750 for 2 person (including PHP400 entry fee kat Maquinit Hot Spring). Tour naik tricycle and very adventurous journey ( jln tanah merah yg tak rata mcm ala2 camel trophy) but we enjoyed so much!
6- For diver, speciality kat sini is wreck diving. Coron is a wreck diving capital of Philippines. Most of the shipwreck here adalah Japanese WWII warship yg berusia lebih 70 tahun. DM akan bwk uols penetrate inside the wreck (yg ini only for certified and experience diver aje). We experience in one of the wreck ade air pocket dlm kapal which bole bukak mask n regulator dan bernafas mcm biasa ikut hidung ( reminds me on Sanctum movie) Truly an amazing experience.
7- Dive agak mahal kat sini dlm RM100++ perdive all inclusive with lunch (if u guys did 3 dives perday)
8- Kat Airport Busuanga xde baggage n body scanner. All inspection done manually by imi.officer. Even tix flight kami pon tulis tangan je. Tp Wifi super laju n FOC..hehehe. Airport tax sini PHP75 byr sblm balik.
9- Kalau ade masa, singgah ke Quiapo area muslim community di Metro Manila ( 30 mins from Naia Airport). Ade Golden Mosque n bersepah kedai makanan halal ala2 lauk nasi Padang kat sini.
10- Tak jumpa org Asia kat sini. All tourist semua mat saleh (except us la kan).
11- If you guys naik AA to Manila,akan turun kat Terminal 4. Nnti kene naik feeder bus (free je n waiting time 30min) utk ke Terminal 3 to catch your flight to Coron. Pls observe your flight timing. Take consideration of delay, cancel etc.
12- Terminal 3 Naia airport lagi proper and lagi condusive dr Terminal 4.
