Coffee Lover?

In Indonesia, speciality coffee is good business. Apart from the famed kopi luwak, Indonesia is blessed with unique and tasty coffees from different regions.

Generally, Indonesia’s specialty coffee has a full body and relatively low acidity.

In Sumatra, there are Mandheling, Gayo and Lintong coffees with their intense flavor, having a tinge of cocoa, earth and tobacco notes.

If you are in Aceh do bring home their local coffees which are quite cheap.

Starbuck and Coffee Bean uses mostly sumatran coffee beans and blending it with other beans form different parts of the world, and called it their Home Blend.

Toraja coffee from Sulawesi has good sweetness and body, with warm spices notes while Papua coffee having heavy body, chocolate, earth and spicy finish.

Flores coffee has heavy body, sweetness, chocolate and tobacco notes while Balinese coffee having sweater than other Indonesian coffees, with nut and citrus notes.

Indonesian arabica coffee plants are grown in the cool highlands while our Malaysian robusta coffee plants (Hang Tuah, 434, Aik Cheong) are mainly grown in the lowlands except for the Tenom coffee plants in Sabah.

I love my coffee black, full body medium roast with low acidity and very sweet with stevia, prepared with my Gaggia Classic espresso machine. When i am lazy, preparing coffee with the aeropress would suffice.

Nowadays i drink my morning coffee with MCT oil and butter i.e bulletproof coffee for tons of energy the whole day. Wooohaaa!!
